Publisher Description:

A Woman's Book of Herbs is an extensive guide to using herbs for healing the mind, body, and spirit. This book is bursting with definitive information on a broad range of herbs including where, when, and how to collect them and the best methods for drying, storing, and preparing them. Readers will also discover herbs' many physical, emotional, and ritual uses, their mythological history and astrological significance, and their main chemical components. Recipes for herbal food, drinks, and medicines are also provided.

Infused with the author's empowering holistic approach to healing and backed by her firm belief that women should have an understanding of and control over the causes of ill-health and the variety of healing processes, A Woman's Book of Herbs is a unique and indispensable work.
