Publisher Description:

She couldn't rid herself of the eerie feeling that once destiny took a hand in your affairs, there was little you could do to stop it.

Kate is a simple country girl: living in Somerset, in the 1920s, in a house with her parents. Left jilted on her wedding day, Kate's life may be more complicated than it seems.

Travelling alone on what would have been her honeymoon, Kate just wants to pick up the pieces of her life. But when a handsome stranger invites her to dinner, everything changes.

With the promise of a new life in London and a fresh start at love, Kate must keep her past a secret or risk losing it all.

A Different Kind of Love was first published in 1998.
