Contributor Bio(s): Vergara, Pilar: - Pilar Vergara holds a degree in Journalism from the Universidad Catolica in her home country of Chile. While there, her commitment to humanistic photography led her to work for a leading news magazine, published in opposition to the Pinochet regime. She also shot assignments for Reuters and the Associated Press. When she was based in Washington, DC, Pilar was a regular contributor to the Washington City Paper and The Washington Post Magazine.
