At the age of nine she immigrated to the Niagara Region in Canada with her mother, joining her two older brothers who had already settled there. Heidi began writing song lyrics and poems as a teenager and has enjoyed writing ever since. She is a graduate of Brock University with a degree in History and German. She is the mother of three adult children and grandmother to four adorable grandchildren. She has written several children's books and three novels including "A French River Adventure" and "The French River Delta - the Legend of Makadewaa." Her passion for reading murder mysteries and historical novels influenced the creation of "Darkness Falls on Niagara" and this latest work, "To Die For..." which sees the return of her popular characters Nico, Tessie and Vinnie. Heidi lives in St. Catharines, Ontario with her husband Martin and Peach, their cuddly cat" |
