Publisher Description: This is the second in a three-volume set of the post-Islamic history of Zoroastrians of Yazd. It is based on original historic sources and written in Persian. This volume covers the formation of Nasseri Anjoman by Keikhosro Khan-Saheb in 1892 AD until the beginning of Pahlavi dynasty in 1924 AD. The second volume covers several important developments in Iranian history which directly impacted the lives of Zoroastrians. The focus of this volume is the formation of the Nasseri Anjoman, the constitutional movement of Iran and the start of Pahlavi dynasty. The author, Dr. Ali Tashakori is a historian and a history professor at the History Department of Yazd University (Yazd, Iran). He has authored numerous articles and five books prior to this landmark work. |
