Contributor Bio(s): Haggerty, Deb: - Deb Haggerty is a lover of God, a wife, and a mother. Born in Benson, Minnesota, she graduated from Macalester College, St. Paul, MN, in 1969 with a BA in English Literature and a minor in music and religion. Deb worked for Southern Bell and AT&T for thirteen years, holding positions from non-management to district level management. While at Southern Bell, she completed an MBA in Human Resources Management and Organizational Design. She left AT&T in 1985 to found Positive Connections(R), a management consulting and training firm. After successfully battling breast cancer in 2000, she started a website to encourage others on that path, PositiveHope.com. 2010 saw the start of her Christian book review site, PositiveGrace.com. In 2016, she purchased Elk Lake Publishing, Inc. (https: //elklakepublishinginc.com), a Christian publishing company. Deb teaches at many Christian writers' conferences, has been published in over twenty books, and has over fifty articles to her credit. Roy and Deb live on beautiful Boot Pond just outside Plymouth, Massachusetts, with Coki the Dog, their adorable miniature dachshund.Haggerty, Roy: - Roy Haggerty is a lover of God, a husband, and a father. He has taught Bible studies for over twenty-five years. Roy retired in his mid-sixties and has spent his time immersed in Bible study and a study of modern politics. He has taken courses towards a masters of theology through Reformed Theological Seminary. He grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Thayer Academy. He attended Kemper Military Junior College, Booneville, MO, before transferring to and graduating from the University of Miami, Miami, FL, with a major in history and a minor in economics. During the Vietnam War, Roy volunteered for the US Air Force and spent eighteen months in the Middle East as a staff-sergeant assigned to the AF Security Service. Roy worked for Southern Bell in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and had several assignments at AT&T Headquarters in New Jersey. Promoted to Division Manager-IT Operations, Roy managed the rollout of the company's marketing management system. Roy left AT&T for a position as Senior Vice President & COO for Computer Horizons Corp. Hired by Adecco to become President and CEO of Ajilon IT Services, Roy, over his seventeen years tenure, grew the organization from a regional company with eight offices and $49M in sales, to an international company with sixty-six offices and over $1B in sales.
