Publisher Description:
World War II was to be the War to end all Wars. World War III, and I believe it has already begun, may in fact be the War to end all Wars. At least until humanity re-builds itself back up from a New Stone Age. But, many of us hope that America's new President, Donald Trump, will be the leader representing the Forces for Good against the Powers of Evil to cause a better balance in the world once again. But, as always, time and experience will tell the story. In my relatively short nostalgic memoir about my boyhood, ages six through nine, during World War II, I revisit and recount what that period was like where I lived thirty miles outside Detroit, Michigan. My hope and intent is for young readers, or older ones who are younger than I am, to perhaps feel something of what I felt during that momentous time of overcoming in the world.
