Sean Douglas, is a twenty year old man living with his father and younger sister in Florida. When their home is destroyed in a flash flood, their only option is to look for refuge at the Florida division of technologically advanced shelters that have been built across the country to provide support for people. Upon arrival, they quickly discover things are not as they seem. They're faced with oppressive and dangerous living conditions, fueled by a no-nonsense shelter leader, as well as the sadistic head guard. Sean's family soon finds themselves caught in the middle of not only a plan for an uprising, but must also face a life or death situation where a critical decision must be made. |
