Upon this comparative translation, we have exhaustively analyzed our work by systematizing the most suitable criteria for evaluation purposes, which we may encounter in recent Translation Quality Assessment studies. This self-analysis would be worth being considered by not only translators and interpreters but also by Comparative Literature specialists due to its high usefulness in literature, as well as those focusing on cultural studies. The results of the proposed method of analysis would also possess a significant pedagogic application for it deters students of Translation Studies from making future mistakes on future translation assignments along with fostering their awareness toward the cognitive process of translating. - A continuaci n presentamos una traducci n del segundo cap tulo de To the lighthouse de Virginia Woolf. A partir de esta traducci n, hemos analizado de forma exhaustiva nuestro trabajo sistematizando los criterios m s adecuados con la consecuci n en los estudios de evaluaci n de calidad de traducciones m s recientes. Este autoan lisis puede ser aplicado por traductores e int rpretes as como para estudiosos de Literatura Comparada o especialistas de estudios culturales. Los resultados de este m todo de an lisis tambi n cuenta con cierto valor pedag gico ya que permite a los estudiantes de Traducci n e Interpretaci n que no cometan los mismos errores en el futuro y profundizar en la conciencia de que la traducci n es un proceso cognitivo complejo.
