AlthoughmicroRNAsareabundantlyexpressedinthebrain, relativelylittleisknownaboutthemultiplefunctionsoftheseRNAmoleculesinthe nervous system. Nevertheless, we knowalready that microRNA pathways play majorrolesintheproliferation, differentiation, functionandmaintenanceofneu- nalcells.
