The study was carried out to assess the phenomenon of crime and socio-economic factors of youth crime prevailing in the society. The study revealed that large number of criminals came from low socio-economic community; therefore they cannot fulfill their basic needs so they commit crime for the fulfillment of their basic needs.Therefore opportunities should be there for youth development. |
