Der hier vorgelegte Indexband erschliesst diesen Sprach- und Wortbestand der Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten erstmals vollstandig und schafft so die Voraussetzungen zu einer systematischen sprachlichen Untersuchung des Kantschen Ethikcorpus. - Der Band eroffnet zugleich die zweite Sektion des Trierer Kant-Index, die Indices zum Kantschen Ethikcorpus. In einer langeren Einleitung werden die Voraussetzungen, Moglichkeiten und Grenzen der texterschliessenden Dokumentation im Felde der Kant-Forschung reflektiert. Ausgehend von einem Uberblick uber die zweihundertjahrige Geschichte der Kant-Lexikographie werden die Methoden der EDV in einen historischen wie sachlichen Zusammenhang mit den Bedurfnissen und Anspruchen der Forschung gestellt: Nicht die Moglichkeiten der modernen EDV, sondern nur eine vernunftige wissenschaftliche Zweckbestimmung, die sich der EDV lediglich als Mittel bedient, kann bei der Sprachdatenverarbeitung zu brauchbaren Ergebnissen fuhren. The Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten (Groundwork for the Metaphysics of Morals) was Kant's first and most important publication on moral philosophy. The terminology and language which Kant developed in this work have had a decisive influence on the discussion of ethical issues up to the present time. The volume of indexes makes the language and the vocabulary of this work completely accessible for the first time, thus creating the prerequisites for a new systematic study of the language in Kantian body of works on ethics. At the same time, this volume is also the beginning of the second section of the Kant Index of the University of Trier, the indexes on Kant's body of work on ethics. The lengthy introduction reflects on the prerequisites, possibilities and limitations of the documentation on textual interpretation in the area of Kant research. Based on an overview on the more than 200-year-old history of Kant lexicography, the methods of EDP are connected historically and factually to the requirements and demands of research. It is not the opportunities which modern EDP offers but only a specific rational scientific purpose which uses EDP as a tool which can lead to acceptable results in language engineering. |
