Publisher Description:
Almond are one of the most nutritious of all nuts, low in saturated fat and contain many other protective nutrients - calcium and magnesium for strong bones, vitamin E and compounds called phytochemicals, which may help protect against cardiovascular disease and even cancer. Pakistan's largest province of Balochistan with an area of 342,505 square kilometers is rich in fruit production. In Almond production, nematodes are of concern as nematode populations are directly related to tree production in other world. The higher the number present, the more tree and yield damage is expected. During the present study oil-cakes were used for nematode management.
