While conservatives often demand an alienation of both sides, left-wing groups just claim to delinate from right-wing extremist associations and make distincions between the different kind of left-wing associations. The research study shows for the first time how the protection of democracy in Germany is in practice using the example of the handling of right- and left-wing associations and it also demonstrates where there ist really a need for improvements.
