| Publisher Description: This volume is addressed to scientists and practitioners who want to study Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). It includes ten contributions written by authors of different disciplines to enrich the relative scarce scientific German-speaking literature. The first four papers are concerned with the purposes and definitions of PPPs, a historical outline of PPPs in Germany, some judicial aspects, and attitudes of public decision-makers towards PPPs plus their experience with PPPs. Two articles deal with the value for money or the economic appraisal of PPPs.
