| Publisher Description: The volume contains the papers presented at the Eighth Heidelberg Symposium on Corporate Restructurings held on March 10, 2015. The papers focus upon current trends in corporate restructurings and reorganizations and the practical experience with the new German Insolvency Law of 2012, especially the committee of creditors (Glaubigerausschuss) and the new Schutzschirmverfahren, i.e., insolvency protection proceedings patterned after Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
