| Publisher Description: Over the past ten years or so, performance art has seen a shift in emphasis, away from the performer's body to the relational space and context of the performance. In tandem with this shift, the performance itself has tended to leave behind more physical evidence of its occurence, creating an increasing overlap in the genres of performance art and installation art.
