German description: In besonderer Weise wurde in der heidnischen Antike die Verbindung von Gottheiten und Menschen im Heiligtum medial vermittelt. Dabei steht vor allem die Kommunikation in ihren unterschiedlichen Formen an und in Heiligtumern im Vordergrund. Dazu gehoren die direkte sprachliche Kommunikation (Gebete, Orakel), die schriftlich fixierte (z.B. in Opferlisten, Texten), die medial vermittelte in Kulthandlungen (Prozessionen, Votiv- und Weihegaben) sowie die symbolisch reprasentative Kommunikation (Architektur, Inschriften, Ornamente). Der vorliegende Band widmet sich erstmals diesen Zusammenhangen und analysiert die Beziehung von Kult und Medialitat in der Antike. |
