Christina Kubisch, born in 1948, studied painting, music, and electronics. Since 1973, she has exhibited in various international museums and galleries, e.g. documenta 1987. She is a Professor of Sculpture and Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts, Saarbrcken, Germany.
