Publisher Description:
High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Patrick Lachman (born March 30, 1970) was the guitarist of the band Diesel Machine (from 1996 to 2001), before joining the solo band from (at that time former) Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford, titled Halford. After the release of Halford's debut album Resurrection, Lachman's other band Diesel Machine got the chance to release their own debut album, Torture Test, which had already been recorded several years earlier. With Halford he released a live album in 2001, Live Insurrection, and another studio album in 2002, Crucible. 2003 saw the release of a Halford EP called Fourging The Furnace, but in that year Rob Halford also announced he would return to Judas Priest. This looked like the end of the Halford band, so Patrick joined with former Pantera guitarist "Dimebag Darrell" Abbott and his brother, drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott in a new band called Damageplan, as their vocalist. Their debut album, New Found Power, was released in 2004.
