Publisher Description: Studies on gender violence allow us to affirm that any aggression perpetrated against a woman has some characteristic that allows it to be identified as gender violence. This means that it is directly linked to the unequal distribution of power and the asymmetrical relations established between men and women in our society, which perpetuate the devaluation of the feminine and its subordination to the masculine. What differentiates this type of violence from other forms of aggression and coercion is that the risk or vulnerability factor is the mere fact of being a woman. The purpose of the investigation consists of the community formation of women's rights in the urbanization Los Samanes II, in the municipality of Girardot, Aragua State. It is justified in offering a contribution to the theoretical knowledge that will allow the community subject of study, specifically the communal council to have the necessary tools to approach problems of violence. The study focuses on a quantitative methodology, under the positivist paradigm. The technique implemented was the interview, with the support of the instrument. |
