Ideal for the COVID-19 era in winch classroom teaching is not always possible. Formulas do not lead to understanding, they actually prevent it. This book takes you through elementary, intermediate and advanced Statistics with only five simple formulas! Descriptive and inferential Statistics. t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), two-way ANOVA, repeated measures, factorial designs unlimited, complex split-plot designs. Understanding the concepts and logic of statistics makes you a better researcher and gives you confidence in live presentations of your research.

REVIEWS OF FIRST EDITION

LaHire 5.0 out of 5 stars. Statistics Made Relatable. Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2020 Verified Purchase. As someone who suffered terribly through a mandatory probability and statistics class in college, I am pleasantly surprised to find a new instructional book in statistics that actually promises to be a fun and entertaining read. Michael Nikoletseas has written precisely such a book here. He teaches statistics by walking the reader through real life anecdote after real life anecdote to which he applies principles of statistics. He thus makes the arcane eminently relatable for the lay reader. Where was this book when I was in college? If your schooling or work includes working with statistics, do yourself a favor and buy this book.

Anonymous 5.0 out of 5 stars. Statistics for College Students. Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2010. Verified Purchase. This remains one of the best books for undergraduate and graduate students with a concept- and nuts-and-bolts-oriented introduction in experimental design and statistical analysis through great examples.

El Buff 5.0 out of 5 stars. A different stats book. Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2010. I am impressed. This is a statistics book different form the others. It explains what statistics are really all about and what do they mean. I was curious to see how five formulas could suffice to explain it all, but it did! This is an ideal book for beginners and I strongly recommend it.

nks 5.0 out of 5 stars. Review for book "College Students and Researchers.... ' Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2011. I am really impressed by how this book explains the essence of statistics in a really novel way. I strongly recommend it.

Anastasia D. 5.0 out of 5 stars. The "story-telling" of Statistics!!!! Who would have known. Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2020. Reading "Statistics for College Students and Researchers: Grasping the Concepts" was fun. It read like a story book, and in that sense it totally fulfilled its purpose, as promised by the author. Using "simple" examples from everyday life, the author set up the stage to tackle questions that every "curious" observer would like to be able to answer, be that a lay-person or a student.... I highly recommend this book...
