Publisher Description: ABOUT THE BOOKA compelling story about dolphins in which Adie, a pretty little dolphin is taught by Mother Dolphin about the unhealthy relationship that exists between the dolphin family and the Sharks. Adie later meets Shem, a human friend who comes to the sea during the summer holidays to visit her friend. Vogar, the biggest shark, feared by all the other sharks, the dolphins, and the humans, feasts on anything that is wounded in the sea. In the end, Shem visits Adie on her birthday, partly to give Adie her birthday cake and partly, to introduce another friend, Tracy to her dolphin friend. Unfortunately, they visit on a day when Vogar was tyrannically strolling around the Shallow Sea to catch and prey on any victim that comes its way. Vogar senses that a human was in the Shallow water. It moves happily to catch dinner. All the dolphins unite to fight and kill Vogar. Adie saved Shem while the other dolphins, led by Mother Dolphin kills Vogar. The story ends in a happy mood. |
