Publisher Description:
Structural Constellations with Solution-Centered Approach is a group simulation process; it is characterized by a procedure (which at the same time affects several levels of symbolization):1) Focused on the solution.2) Syntactic (as much as possible leaving aside the interpretations).3) Systemically ambiguous.4) The basis of the work is Representative Perception.Group process of simulation: Manner of proceeding with which are represented in space the really relevant elements of the system to be represented, which were mentioned in a previous conversation, and in this way are represented the relationship structures, behaviour and trends towards change in this system. In this way they can, for example, when asked about the resolution of a conflict in a team, be represented as elements of the system, team members, company director, company, objectives and clients through representatives. 1) Proceed by focusing on the solution: the methodology of intervention and conduct of the conversation that is based on the ideas and principles of the Milwaukee School (Steve de Shazer, Insoo Kim-Berg) and where the characteristics of the solution are more relevant than those of the problem. With this, it is oriented to customers to describe their solution possibilities in such a way as if the solution had already happened. In this way they live spaces of action wider and new perspectives.2) Syntactic Procedure: Structural Constellations are based on the logical and philosophical assumptions of systems theory. Through them are given general structures that make it possible to leave aside to a great extent the contents and interpretations, especially from the facilitators of the constellation. Thus in the case of a decision dilemma there will always be at least two possibilities of decision making, but beyond that they can also play a role of unknown compatibility and context conditions not taken into account. The exploration of the content of these diverse perspectives and their valuation is left to the clients.3) Proceed systemically ambiguous: Form of intervention in which the symbols used are left intentionally and systemically ambiguous so that several systemic contexts can be touched at the same time for clients, (for example, work and family context) and the clients themselves can make a selection regarding which issues can be addressed openly at work and which should only be addressed covertly with greater protection.4) Representative Perception: Representatives are appointed and placed by clients, for example, as a family member, boss, or also totally undercover and only appointed with a letter. Representatives spontaneously experience bodily and extraneous perceptions that are in accordance with the structures and trends of change of a represented system. Representative perception is the ability of man to project with the image of a constellation the quality of the position and relationship of the elements of the system represented through the spontaneous change of body perception
