So much so that we couldn't escape it on a daily basis. It was so prominent that it was posted outside DC on a crude sign board that stated: "Goddamn F---ing Pinko Commie Lovers" Well, that was how prominent that sentiment was - being posted out in the wilderness on a crude sign board. Presumably it might still be today because the relationship with Russia - if anything - has become more aggressive under its current leader. It seems his declared intent is to dismantle the power and influence of the United States in the entire world. In addition they are trying to basically interrupt our ability to effectively govern internally. In fact, they might be considered one of our most serious, dangerous adversaries the United States has had to face in decades.Why is this so important now? Because the history which we all knew - Democrats and Republicans - that seemed so appropriate at the time - has been obliterated. We seemingly have forgotten who our true adversary was. Particularly right now, in these past four years we not only seem to have forgotten - some of us are seemingly embracing our most staunch and serious adversary as if a trusted friend and ally. As a result our entire nation - perhaps our entire civilization - is in dire jeopardy of a possibly disastrous result of this next election.
