Publisher Description:
This book outlines the life story of Erich Kunz, a German immigrant to Canada after the Second World War. His life began as a medical experiment, which would save his mother's life but would result in strained family relations. Primary education during the Second World War was difficult and high school was expensive at the time, so traits school was instead taken which would lead to professional development and great success in the future. World War Two experiences would form character and spawn spiritual development leading to a Christian lifestyle and later church leadership. During these times Erich would come to realize that sport and strong friendships are of the utmost importance. When he first immigrated to Canada as an 18 year old, he faced language barriers and changes of profession but still persevered in spite of these obstacles. This would not be the end of the challenges he faced, however, as he now aspired to have a family but also wanted to improve his post secondary education with the goal of becoming a teacher. Circumstances were leading to the world of business, international business, and investments in a constantly changing world as politics and international hotspots became more important to him ie. the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union. The methodology of Moral Rearmament in that area was very impressive and became a large part of his life, which would lead to reconciliation work with First Nations communities within Canada and eight years of consulting work with the provincial government. Throughout his life Erich has been amazed by the amount of miracles that he has experienced and the constant guidance of God.
