Publisher Description:
'Granja do Atl ntico' presents itself as the second volume of the collection that aims to bring together all the work of the Portuguese poet Marco da Cunha, born in Mora, Alentejo. This second volume focuses on the works of Marco da Cunha after 1923, written mainly during his stay in the city of London, where he worked in a used bookstore. The trip to London was a decisive step in Marco da Cunha's life and led him to assume a completely new lifestyle, also evolving in his political thinking and embarking on various adventures, some of which inspired poems present in these pages. The book is divided into two parts: The Lighthouse, an exciting suspenseful narrative that grabs the reader and lets him hold his breath. The second part, 'poems from the Atlantic Farm', in which separate poems from the same period are published. This edition is a translation of the original Portuguese title "Granja do Atl ntico", part of Colindale Edition's effort to restore the words of this great man.
