Publisher Description: A group of students from Lagos, embark on a fun, adventurous excursion trip to Yankari National Park in Bauchi. In the course of their trip during a safari tour, their guide out of arrogance and lust, puts them in danger. He is killed by a wild animal and they get lost with half of the students being separated from the other half. The first half were rescued quickly. The story follows the adventure of the later half, who amid terror, pride, tribal bigotry, consistent condescending attitudes and irresponsibility make efforts to be found and wander further and further into the wild savannah lands, where they have dangerous and supernatural encounters with the wild animals, an international kidnapping syndicate and an unusual breed of animal. Would they be rescued alive? Can they muster up courage and save themselves? Can teen love survive hardship, sickness and pain? |
