"If I take all the money and walk away, will they come after me?"
Ravi knows he's blindly running after money.
Money determines...
Life...
Love...
Everything, even when we don't like it.
He would say.

Then it happened one day...

It's an evening the four roommates could have carefully handled. They think it is yet another evening in which they could watch a OTT web series, cook chicken and drink until one of them comes up with a pernicious suggestion: to steal their boss's money, seven lakhs and eighty five thousand rupees.
Of course, the amount is not so big, and stealing it isn't going to be that difficult. If they succeed, their lives will change, and they'll come out of all the financial burdens the Pandemic has imposed upon.
What they lack is a proper plan to carry out what they want.

Then the plan occurred unexpectedly.

Next morning, Hemant, their acting manager and roommate who put the suggestion forward is found dead in his room because of excessive drinking.
Now they see a proper plan: burying the dead and informing the head office that he has run away with the money.
The plan seems feasible.

When the others went to bury the dead body, Ravi is left with the sum of money.
Seven lakhs and eighty five thousand rupees.

A seven lakh and eighty five thousand rupee OPPORTUNITY.

He runs away while the others prepare the burial.

What he fails to see is it is also a part of the plan...

AMRITA

"On the day Hemant and I first met at their office, Karthik couldn't help noticing how close we had suddenly become.
Karthik kept asking. 'You guys know each other already?
How many times?
I had counted.
TWENTY FIVE TIMES, aloud."

It's now her bitter past.

She doesn't live the life she dreamt about.

She simply exists until Ravi comes into her existence.
Ravi, after he meets Amrita, feels life.
No more running...
No more hiding...
He decides to give Amrita a life she deserves.

He wants to end her sufferings.
Everything seems real...feels real until his friends come back into their life.
He knew they would come back.
"They will maintain the story: Hemant ran with the money, and they'll come for me.
Or they'll add one more name to the sentence: Hemant andRavi ran with the money, and will come for me.

In either case, they would come for me and when they catch me, they might bury me too."

Now that he has Amrita, he's full of hope. Amrita does defend him.

" 'Sure, we don't want your money. I don't want money, ' she beamed. 'I have Ravi. He's all I want. Leave him alone. I need him, Karthik."
Ravi's feelings are beyond description. "I can see now how a girl could make a man both happy and sad at the same time."
Ravi is not Hemant, but he could have seen what was coming.

He doesn't see it.

He is blinded by Amrita's true love.

She'll remain truthful, but not his friends.

For them, he is a runaway.

Karthik hates Ravi, but his hatred will not stop him from telling the truth.
Karthik knows that Ravi cannot bear it.
Karthik knows Amrita deserves a better life.
Who is Ravi?
Karthik says he is a coward; a selfish dog, who doesn't care about anything but money. When Karthik finally tells him the truth, Ravi must make a decision.
What connects all the dots?
The friends, Ravi and Amrita and the dead Hemant?
Money?
Maybe.
What if there's another word...

another answer?
