| Publisher Description: Memorial Day 1996, my friends and I set out for a relaxing day of rafting, but it quickly become the best and worst day of my life. I soon found myself thrown out of the boat after a big drop and fighting for my life, begging God to save me. I had believed in Jesus most of my 28 years, but a lifetime of church had not prepared me for meeting Jesus. Earthly language fails to describe the holy awesomeness of meeting Jesus, and learning of how deeply loved and wanted I was. I was alive for the first time in my life, in unfathomable love and peace, I was home, basking in the exhilarating presence of Jesus. I finally belonged, until Jesus said "You must go back." Nothing in my entire life hurt like having to leave heaven. I was a mother of 3 young children and still I begged Him to let me stay. Forced back into my frigid body after 10 minutes under water. I was alive again, but didn't want to be. Why did I have to leave? How was I supposed to go back to my life? Did I have brain damage? Did I just get kicked out of heaven? I felt like I now spoke a language no human could understand. Learning to live knowing the perfect truth of God, in a world that is consumed with lies and fear, seemed impossible. Fortunately I was now armed with fearless faith. I would never be the same again! I am consumed with not wasting a second, I must share my heaven secrets with everyone I love, and after being in the presence of Jesus, I can't help but love everyone. |
