Publisher Description: A Study of Hands is an attempt to remove male intimacy from its sheath. It is an incision into Bodney's last relationship, as well as the ongoing one he has with his father. It is the peeling of layers from his own experiences of love and abuse with the men in his life and how that translates into the ways he communicates vulnerability. It is a reconstruction of safety while navigating the revolution that is continuing to define Bodney, what it means to survive, and to love all at once. |
