Publisher Description: "The Protestant Future is to reflect the light of the world". In an assessing the future of Protestantism, RD Kernohan is asking honestly, "Does it have a future?" If so, is that a future a promising one? This acute commentator answers his own question with the assertion that it is God's promises which count. He reaches some startling conclusions along the way and writes in a provocative and challenging fashion. Through discussions about intercommunion, women's place in ministry, and dialogue with Rome, a clear message emerges: if the Protestant Church puts faith in Christ first, then the light will shine. |
