Contributor Bio(s): Etherton, Peter: - Peter Etherton grew up in the west of England and in Malaya. He has a BA (Hons) in English and an MA in 20th Century Literature from Royal Holloway, University of London and an MA in Linguistics for English Language Teaching from Lancaster University. He taught at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and at King Abdul Aziz University in Saudi Arabia. He has been a British Council English Language Teaching Specialist and qualified as an IELTS examiner. He is the author of over 100 English textbooks, mainly for Hong Kong and China. He has wide teaching experience, including working in British independent boarding schools. His special interests include imaginative course design, integration studies, writing simulation games for language enrichment and researching language simplification.
