Publisher Description:

The wolves tell tales among themselves. They speak of the great wolf Fenris, a cannibalistic monster that stalks and devours weaker wolves. They speak of the Bounties, also called the humans, who move deeper into their territory with each passing season. But the legend they love the most is that of the Great Alpha. When he is needed, he will come to lead them in the final war against the humans. He will unite all the packs, including the warring Mason and Paigon clans.

Locu, the alpha of the Mason pack, is skeptical about the legends. The pack's seer, Rokan, urges him to believe. Rokan believes that the prophesied war is coming, and they need to be ready. The Great Alpha will emerge, and each wolf must decide what is worth fighting for.

When Rokan mysteriously disappears, Locu isn't the only one worried. Locu's son, Bleid, looks up to the seer. Bleid has his own doubts about being the son of such a fearless leader. To find Rokan, he will venture out and face monsters straight out of the legends. In doing so, Bleid will realize his own inner strength and incredible destiny.
