This was the trip that changed her life. Debbie left Haiti with a shocking glimpse into the starvation and homelessness of Haitian children and made an agreement with her husband to give her emotional struggle of wanting to help these children, 30 days. Bill believed that in 30 days, these feelings would fade and their lives would return to normal. This is where Debbie's heart was transformed and the "Helping Haitian Angels" story begins and her successes and "failing-forward" experiences now help thousands of people, to take the leap of faith that she blindly accepted.
