Contributor Bio(s): Williams-Reason, Dr Evelyn J.: - Originally hailing from Houston, Texas, Dr. Evelyn J. Reason has been featured singing and acting since the tender age of six years, performing in the church and school arenas with ease, developing a very public and outgoing personality. In high school, she was Editor of the school newspaper and yearbook, and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. As a student at the University of Houston, she majored in English / Journalism, and was a State of Texas licensed newspaper writer and reporter for several years. Relocating to Southern California was an enhancement to her passion for music, acting, writing, and ministry. An anointed woman of God, Dr. Reason has provided lead and background vocals for a long list of recording artists, is the founder of her own group, "Reasons to Sing", and has served as choir director for many churches in the Southern California area. She was a vocal trainer for both secular and gospel singers for many years. Also seasoned as an actress in her own right, she has performed in many theatrical plays, television shows and commercials. In 2010 God moved Dr. Reason from her long termed work in the Los Angeles area, to a brand new ministry in the Inland Empire counties in Southern California. There she evangelizes as God provides, while having continued in school to earn her PhD in Biblical Studies from the Next Dimension University in Ontario, California. She is now on the Advisory Board and is also on the teaching staff of the same. She is a licensed and ordained minister. |
