Publisher Description:
This is my autobiographical book which describes my struggles with Rheumatoid Arthritis which I completely self-cured thirty six years ago, in 1982, without any recurrence. I also self-cured other chronic (and non chronic) illnesses, such as High Cholesterol & Triglycerides (1974), Cervical Cancer (1975), Sciatica (1990), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (1991), Fibromyalgia (1993), Chronic Back Pain (1994), Dermatitis (2000), Dry Eye (2010), as well as other afflictions which are all described in this book. I devised my own nutrition plan and I participated in healing exercises that greatly assisted me with all my chronic illnesses. To recover my health I developed great self-discipline in order to strictly adhere to my healthy nutrition and to my daily very effective exercises classes at the gym. I also used psychological techniques which I learned during my studies to obtain my Master's Degree in Psychology which I completed in 1978. Patience, optimism and belief in my eventual complete cure, from all the illnesses that I experienced, brought me my self-healing. I experimented with various approaches to recover my health and apparently the methods that I used brought me my victory against all illnesses that had temporarily incapacitated me. Self-curing our serious illnesses is not about doing the "right thing" according to other people's personal standards and subjective judgement. It is instead about being persistent in developing our own philosophy of what really matters to us in our lives and doing the things that specifically please us, while also adhering to a healthy nutrition and proper exercise. This book describes a slice of my life, lasting from January 1980 until July 1982. The first year of 1980 was a stressful one, likely resulting in my Rheumatoid Arthritis, according to the official psychological belief of the times which declared that high and prolonged stress eventually resulted in serious illnesses. The onset of the severe illness of Rheumatoid Arthritis on my body, as well as my complete cure from it, with the decisive defeat of this very painful and debilitating "chronic" illness, occurred on the following year and a half, from January 1981 to July 1982. The world of new thoughts, ideas and beliefs about successfully facing life's challenges could potentially change our mentality about our freedom and improve our outlook of life, as well as heal us from chronic diseases. A new way of thinking can set us free from the chains of restrictions imposed upon us by others, which restrictions where taught and instilled to us by people of authority and power in our society. New ideas and beliefs can liberate us from society's traditional but sometimes unnecessary restraints. A new philosophy of life of believing in our judgement and in our self-cure can bring us the sunshine of our complete and permanent cure from illnesses that the establishment considers chronic and therefore lifelong.
