Contributor Bio(s): Hall, Jh: - J.H. Hall grew up on the banks of the Chesapeake where his family lived as farmers and fishermen. He received his formal education at Princeton and Duke, with post graduate training in medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle. He took up fresh water fishing in 1975 when he left the field of medicine and moved to Maine. He has fished from Maine to Belize, and for the past 18 years has worked as a medical consultant, leaving ample time for fishing.
His articles have appeared in Grays Sporting Journal, Fly Rod & Reel, and In-Fisherman, and have been collected in the book, Selling Fish: Fish Stories from a Sporting Life. His childhood experiences have been fictionalized in the book Paradise: Stories of a Changing Chesapeake. A few of his medical stories, along with fishing stories, have appeared in literary magazines such as The North American Review and TriQuarterly.
