Publisher Description: Metallomacrocycles are organic macrocycles with metal moieties that endow interesting properties and allow diverse applications, such as in sensing, drug delivery and catalysis. This book will provide the background, design and construction, higher order systems, and applications of metallomacrocycles. This will be primarily useful for postgraduate students and researchers, and particularly to those interested in coordination driven self-assembly, supramolecular chemistry and nanoscience. |
Contributor Bio(s): Yang, Hai-Bo: - Hai-Bo Yang obtained his PhD degree at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) in Beijing in 2004. Then he joined Professor Peter J. Stang's group at the University of Utah as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Since the end of 2008, he has started his independent research as a PI at East China Normal University in Shanghai. Prof. Yang's research interests span the areas of organic, organometallic, and supramolecular chemistry. |
