Publisher Description:
INDIA " A journey in the journey " is the diary of a trip to India that lasted a total of four years from the winter of 2004; the protagonist began it almost involuntarily while his mind is still involved in commercial projects in Italy, but soon the powerful mystical energy that permeates the Asian subcontinent, affects his vision of life, diverting more and more attention to the mystical world. Over time, he slowly moved from north to south, following the climate change and his progressive curiosity for the spiritual world, without disdaining any place of tourist attraction. He visited a third of the Indian states, preferring rural and spiritual India, and from a few weeks to a few months he stayed in many towns and villages such as: the yojica Rishikesh, Dharmsala residence of the Dalai Lama, Uttarkashi, the hypnotizing and ancient Varanasi, Agra, the tantric Khajuraoo, the pearls of the Rajasthano desert: Pushkar, Jaipur and Jodhpur, the seaside resorts Goa and Gokarna, the verdant Hampi, Bangalore, Puttaparti and the Ashram of Sai Baba, Tiruvannamalai with the ashram of Ramana Maharshi and the sacred mountain Arunachala, Pondicherry... When it can't avoid them, it glides quickly through the polluted metropolises of Madras, Delhi and Bombay. Just as curiosity slowly changes its coordinates, the language of the diary also changes its skin, seeking its most appropriate expression. The different and varied friendships with which they initially share experiences and fun along the way, as if by a natural selection, progressively leave room for the meeting and attendance of some teachers and spiritual guides, as well as new friendships mainly interested in personal evolution. The traveller, who now feels like a researcher, continues his journey towards the unknown Self.
