Pigeon English, his first novel, was shortlisted for the 2011 Man Booker Prize, the Desmond Elliott Prize and the Guardian First Book Award, and he was also shortlisted for the New Writer of the Year Award at the 2011 Galaxy National Book Awards. He lives in St Albans.Obisesan, Gbolahan: - Gbolahan Obisesan is an award-winning director and playwright who lives in London. His stage play Mad About the Boy, produced by Iron Shoes and developed with the support of the National Theatre Studio, ran at the Edinburgh Festival and was awarded a Fringe First for Best Play. |
