| Publisher Description: English summary: The "Revue blanche" (1891-1903) was an influential "Forum of the Youth" in Paris during the Belle Epoque, to which the trendy writers and artists of their time belonged. At the same time, however, the publication was addressed to a broad, bourgeois public, which was unusual for a typical literary publication associated with the youth-autonomist pole of the time. The particular position of the publication in the literary field, whose functional mechanisms the editorial board knew to use skillfully and in which they authentically produced autonomy, is worked out in this anthology by means of selected contribution. The set of literary values of the "Revue Blanche" places the publication within the bourgeois system of literature; its literary articles and its media-critical parodies show it as a fellow-traveler of the historical avant-garde. German description: Die 'Revue blanche' (1891-1903) ist im Paris der Belle Epoque ein einflussreiches "Forum der Jugend", zu dem die angesagten Schriftsteller und Kunstler ihrer Zeit beitragen.
